  Attended fire and ice for my sons birthday , due to dietary restrictions , ordered salmon which wasn't available , sold out , asked for grilled chicken and steamed veggies , was told that they were too busy to accomodate and I should have rang ahead and advise them that I wasn't able to eat from their menu , , ended up with a plate full of steamed veggies which was my only option , they were not even presented nicely , also another person attending ordered pasta and there was an add chicken option , wondering why I was not able to add chicken to the veggies ???they couldn't answer that , won't be going back. They really just couldn't be bothered .

  My family and I love coming to The Southern. The value for money and quality of food is always spot on. We had the steak special on Saturday and it was cooked perfectly. Plus it was huge (500 grams from memory). Service is always great too.

  Good atmosphere. Great friendly staff. Excellent value for money, worth a repeat visit. The Flame cafe is great for breakfast, it's open from 7am.

  Had lunch today. Anything not on the 'specials' board is pretty expensive.
