    Absolute rip off - charges $154 for a simple roadworthy. This is over twice the price of several other mechanics in town (all of which told me it should be a standard fee).

    After receiving several quotes and believing it should be the same price everywhere, we decided to try this place to support a local business instead of a franchise. What a mistake that turned out to be when I was told the price after picking up my vehicle!

    $300 for a service on a standard car. Change of oil and not even a new air filter. Never again!

    When questioned as to why the price is so high, we were told he charges 'environmental levy' and workshop fees as he has to use his hoist. I don't buy the environmental levy when you're supposed to be simply checking the vehicle (not changing oil etc), and as for workshop fees - if you can't afford to offer a roadworthy maybe don't offer the service.
