This slogan has to be one of the most deceiving lies any business can come up with. They do barely any job searching assistance for you to help get a job. I have been with BEST for over a year now and they have not tried in anyway to help me land any job at all.

This place is the only decent employment agency I've ever been with. If you actually try and get yourself a job they go out of their way to help you. Clare, Kerri and Kelly from the Toowoomba site not only helped me get a traineeship within the first week of me being signed up with them, they also helped a tremendous amount when I was having difficulty finding a house. Can't praise them enough for how great they are.

Full of friendly and helpful people who do their best to help.

The only job they'll help you get is a voluntary one when you have to Work For The Dole, and yet even then you STILL have to search for 15-20 jobs a month. You will have better luck finding jobs with other employment services who will actually help you find a good job unlike these lazy people posing as an employment agency.

Even if you have procured employment and are waiting for notification of commencement you are required to continue applying for jobs. Why? I have no idea. So while selling everything I own, barely eating, not sleeping with stress and related health issues, trying to service a home loan, I'm required to continue applying for jobs even though I have proof I have been successful procuring job placement without any assistance from them whatsoever and will not be available for any of these jobs I'm applying for to satisfy my "obligation"?

This place should be renamed WORST Employment.

Do NOT go anywhere near these parasites if you are serious about finding work! I can only assume the people working there are formerly long term unemployed themselves. Lazy and unprofessional.

THE single most useless job seach "provider" you will ever encounter! Obviously the lowest tendered quote gets centerlink's contract. After numerous trips into their office to tell me essentially nothing, (forget petrol and parking costs) before I even recieved my first Newstart payment, they referred me to exactly ZERO job opportunities in 3 months! Legally they are required to offer you at least some support in that respect, but does that matter?

One way street there I guess.

If you're not working for the dole their services provide a 1 to 2 hours workshop lecturing the benefits of finding work and how to improve your chances when you apply for them by yourself. Most of the things they teach you, you already know. Sometimes there are appointments that are just mandatory job searching by yourself at one of their computers which you can easily to do at home if you have a computer and internet. Going to BEST is not worth it, even if it means you have to go into the busy CBD and find a paid and/or parking limit spots to attend their appointments.
