  Then to top off my experience, she then overcharged me - so I paid $81 for a service advertised @ $49.95 and lashes I had to rip off in the restaurant bathroom next door. By that time, I was late & upset so I just paid & left.

  Girls - we are all busy at work but there is no excuse for taking paying customers for granted. You would not survive in Sydney the way I was treated. For the sake of your own busness, please pick up your act.

  I asked her if someone there could apply strip lashes (was absolutely more than happy to pay for the service - nothing in life is free), she didn't really respond and then just proceeded to just stick them straight on as is, no measure or trim, completely misaligned, full 3mm from my lash line, looked absolutely awful. If she didn't have time why not just say, or tell me someone else could do it in half an hour - communication skills seriously lacking.

  Wow I just had the most incredible massage and facial here! You can see that the business runs so well and the result is an amazing experience. Been to others in town that charged more and delivered less, well don't ladies!

  Not impressed. Visiting from Sydney & chose this place because it looked 'decent'. Booked full face waxing to freshen up before dinner @ Gips. Three staff at the counter when I walked in, two didn't even acknowledge me when I arrived and just kept talking amongst themselves. I was then directed to the waiting room, fine, while the staff waked around talking loudly to each other & customers (so much for their etiquette! lol). I sat waiting for 10mins no-one even offered me a glass of water or acknowledged my existence - the other customer smiled at me, not the staff though. Waxing treatment was mediocre - have had better at a shopping centre nail salon - just ripped the wax off straight off , no cold compress - seriously ouch.

  Wonderful place! Having just moved to Toowoomba I didn't think I'd find a beauty therapist as wonderful as my previous one but Maria is amazing. Beautiful person and great therapist.
