  Excellent food that the whole family can eat. Our dietary restrictions are easily catered for and the taste isn't compromised. Delicious coffee. The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality ingredients used. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. There is a play area for children and they feel welcome in the environment rather than just tolerated. Our 'regular'.

  When a friend invited me to home grown I was reluctant at first. I figured it would be all sandal weaving hippies and pompous vegans who would shame me for looking at any sort of non soy based food. However it is a great little spot. The small shop front betrays the huge size of the indoor cafe.

  The staff are lovely so it's well worth the trip....Even if you have to listen to some dude rant about how meat is murder while you enjoy some nitrate free bacon.

  The coffee is great and the Mexican fritters were well balanced between spicy and flavoursome. There is a large array of deserts that are tasty but also friendly to vegan and gluten sensitive people.
