  Good availability of cars and trucks. Getting the vehicle and returning it is always time consuming and a process that could be faster but overall recommended.

  We hired a bus for an event. The vehicle was unclean on pick up. I picked it up on Friday evening and parked overnight as the event was on Saturday. On Saturday morning the bus would not start due to a flat battery. My wife had to tow start the bus. When I raised this issue with Avis I was told that they were aware of the bus having a flat battery and that it was just too bad that I happened to get a vehicle with a flat battery! Terrible service, and unreliable vehicle! Will not hire from here again.

  Booked with Avis Preferred and organised a car. Arrived at the airport at 5:30pm (meant to be open after 7pm 7 days a week) and no staff available and no one picked up any of the emergency numbers. Extremely unprofessional and costly!
